our learning priorities

  • Socially and emotionally competent
  • Creative, Curious and Connected
  • Competent and Confident Learners and Communicators
  • Active in our bodies and minds
North Haven Learning Priorities reflect the values and vision of the centre and provide a framework for each Kaiako to ensure children are meeting the outcomes for what learning matters most. Periodically, Kaiako choose a centre wide learning priority which provides an opportunity to focus teaching practice and learning in a group. Teachers plan and reflect on their practice. They plan intentional teaching moments as a collective where children's learning under this priority is celebrated and brought the fore of each classroom.
