our learning priorities
North Haven Learning Priorities reflect the values and vision of the centre and provide a framework for each Kaiako to ensure children are meeting the outcomes for what learning matters most. Periodically, Kaiako choose a centre wide learning priority which provides an opportunity to focus teaching practice and learning in a group. Teachers plan and reflect on their practice. They plan intentional teaching moments as a collective where children's learning under this priority is celebrated and brought the fore of each classroom. |
OUR VALUESManaakitanga (hospitality, generosity, kindness,)
Whanaunatanga (sense of connection, reciprocal relationships, working together to strengthen a sense of belonging) Kaitiakitanga (guardianship, contribute, give, nurture, and care for the environment and the people the things in it) Manaakitanga
